Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung (2) zur Aufnahme eines Gels (5) oder eines Granulats und zur Positionierung in einem Urinal (1), wobei die Vorrichtung zu einer Pissoirwand beabstandet ist. Die Vorrichtung weist ein entsprechendes Positionierungsmittel, einen am Positionierungsmittel angebrachten, eine Füllhöhe definierenden Wirkstoffbehälter und eine den Wirkstoffbehälter abdeckende Abdeckung (7) auf. Wirkstoffbehälter und Abdeckung sind bevorzugt fest miteinander verbunden und der Wirkstoffbehälter weist Öffnungen auf, die derart dimensioniert sind, dass ein Gel oder Granulat zurückgehalten wird und die derart angeordnet sind, dass auf der ganzen Füllhöhe Flüssigkeit aus dem Wirkstoffbehälter ausfliessen kann.
