METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROVIDING ACCESS TO A COMPUTING ENVIRONMENT PROVIDED BY A VIRTUAL MACHINE EXECUTING IN A HYPERVISOR EXECUTING IN A TERMINAL SERVICES SESSION

A method for providing access to a computing environment includes the step of receiving a request for an enumeration of available computing environments. Collected data regarding available computing environments are accessed. Accessed data are transmitted, the accessed data indicating each available computing environment. A broker machine receives a request from a client machine for access to a computing environment. One of a plurality of virtual machines providing the requested computing environment is identified. One of a plurality of execution machines is identified, the identified execution machine providing a terminal services session in which a hypervisor executes to provide access to required hardware resources. A client agent creates, via a terminal services session, a communication link to a virtual machine executing in a hypervisor on an execution machine identified by a hyperlink configuration file, the hypervisor executing in a terminal services session provided by the execution machine.
