Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an apparatus (1) adapted to store and/or preserve foodstuffs, which comprises at least one preferably refrigeratable inner compartment (2), at least one element (4,5,6,7,71) preferably made of plastic, and one or more light sources (9). According to the present invention, at least one surface of said element (4,5,6,7,71) is partially or fully coated with a photocatalytic material adapted to be activated through said one or more light sources (9). In particular, the apparatus (1) is a household appliance, preferably a refrigerator or a freezer or a refrigerator-freezer. La présente invention concerne un appareil (1) conçu pour stocker et/ou conserver des produits alimentaires, comprenant au moins un compartiment interne (2) de préférence réfrigérable, au moins un élément (4, 5, 6, 7, 71) de préférence en plastique, et une ou plusieurs sources lumineuses (9). Selon la présente invention, au moins une surface dudit élément (4, 5, 6, 7, 71) est en partie ou en totalité recouverte d'un matériau photocatalytique conçu pour être activé au moyen de ladite ou desdites sources lumineuses (9).
