The holder (14) is, formed by a tube, and it is connected with an adjacent wall (Ia) of the main tube (1) and eventually with a saddle tube (17), and it is joined with the main tube (1) and eventually also with the saddle tube (17) by a weld. L'invention concerne un cadre (R) de bicyclette, comprenant un tube principal (1) terminé par un tube de direction (12) à l'avant et par une boîte de pédalier (13) montée sur une extrémité prolongée (11) du cadre (R) au moyen d'un élément de maintien (14) situé au-dessus de la boîte de pédalier (13), et une fourche arrière (V) fixée à demeure ou de façon oscillante. L'élément de maintien (14) est formé d'un tube et couplé par soudage à une paroi adjacente (Ia) du tube principal (1) et à un tube de selle (17).
