Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed are embodiments of methods, systems, and apparatus for integrating a bottom-of-basket (BOB) item detector (10) with a da reader (20). In some embodiments, the BOB item detector (10) may be integrated with a barcode scanner (20) of a point-of-sale (POS terminal (70) without need for modification of the POS system software. Some embodiments may also provide for a visual and/or audible indication or confirmation of the presence of a bottom-of-basket item. Dans des modes de réalisation, l'invention concerne des procédés, des systèmes et un appareil permettant d'intégrer un détecteur d'article de fond de chariot (BOB) dans un lecteur de données. Dans certains modes de réalisation, le détecteur d'article BOB peut être intégré avec un code à barres de terminal de point de vente (POS) sans avoir besoin de modifier le logiciel du système POS.
