Zusammenfassung:	The invention provides for methods of isolating stem cells and their descendant cells, as well as identifying genes that are differentially expressed in Sonic Hedgehog (Shh) gene expressing cells. More particularly, the present invention relates to methods for discovering genes and proteins that may be useful in tissue engineering, regeneration, reconstruction and/or repair of tissues that are actively, or have at any time during the life of the organism, expressed the Sonic Hedgehog gene. L'invention concerne des méthodes servant à isoler des cellules souches et leurs cellules descendantes, ainsi qu'à identifier des gènes exprimés de façon différentielle dans les cellules exprimant le gène de Sonic Hedgehog. Elle concerne, plus particulièrement, des méthodes servant à rechercher des gènes et des protéines pouvant présenter une utilité dans le traitement par génie génétique, la régénération, la reconstruction et/ou la réparation de tissus ayant exprimé activement, ou en tout temps pendant la vie de l'organisme, le gène de Sonic Hedgehog.
