Zusammenfassung:	A rigid support bearing for a rotating shaft has bearings arranged concentrically around the shaft instead of spaced axially and is used in a screw drive telescoping mast assembly. An axial drive screw is centrally located in the mast assembly for extending and retracting the tubular sections. A lower bearing assembly supports the drive screw and uses the concentric bearing arrangement to reduce the nested height of the mast. L'invention concerne un palier-support rigide pour un arbre rotatif qui comprend des paliers disposés de façon concentrique autour de l'arbre au lieu d'être espacés axialement et qui est utilisé dans un ensemble mât télescopique de commande de vis. Une vis à commande axiale est située au centre de l'ensemble mât afin de déployer et de rétracter les sections tubulaires. Un ensemble palier inférieur supporte la vis de commande et utilise la disposition concentrique des paliers pour diminuer la hauteur imbriquée du mât.
