ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR WITH CROSSTALK COMPENSATION

An electrical jack (10) includes a housing (20) having a mating end (26) configured to receive a mating plug (12). A plurality of signal contacts (32) are arranged in differential pairs, and each of the signal contacts carries a signal from or to a plug contact (50) in the mating plug. A plurality of compensation contacts (34) are provided. Each compensation contact (34) engages a respective plug contact (50) in the mating plug (12) independent of the signal contact (32), and the compensation contacts (34) provide crosstalk compensation. La présente invention se rapporte à un connecteur électrique femelle (10), qui comprend un logement (20) possédant une extrémité d'accouplement (26) adaptée pour recevoir une fiche d'accouplement (12). Une pluralité de contacts de signal (32) sont disposés en paires différentielles, et chacun des contacts de signal porte un signal émanant d'un contact de fiche (50) de la fiche d'accouplement ou destiné audit contact. Le connecteur électrique selon l'invention comporte une pluralité de contacts de compensation (34). Chacun desdits contacts de compensation (34) vient en prise avec un contact de fiche (50) respectif de la fiche d'accouplement (12) indépendamment du contact de signal (32), et les contacts de compensation (34) assurent une compensation de la diaphonie.
