METHOD AND APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR PERFORMING SEAMLESS MOBILITY

An independent server is established to track the state of content being rendered on a client device. A content server (alternatively referred to as an application server) maintains a backchannel with the independent server and updates session state. When migrating content from a first client device to a second client device, the second client device will access the server prior to rendering the content. Upon accessing the server, the second client device will be provided with the state of the current session. Un serveur de contenu (appelé également serveur d'applications) conserve une voie de retour avec le serveur indépendant et actualise l'état de session. Lors de la migration du contenu d'un premier dispositif client vers un second dispositif client, ce dernier accédera au serveur avant de rendre le contenu. Dès l'accès au serveur, le second dispositif client recevra l'état de la session en cours.
