Zusammenfassung:	A composition and method which exhibits enhanced moisture sealing properties, suitable for use with flooring materials, such as concrete, and flooring installations, such as carpeting, wood, tiles, etc. are provided. The composition is preferably non-waterbased and can form a non-aqueous barrier coating on the flooring substrate, and most preferably provides a desirable pH and blocks migration of alkaline salts through the substrate. Cette invention concerne une composition et un procédé possédant des propriétés d'étanchéité marquées à l'humidité, convenant pour de matériaux de sol tels que le béton et des revêtements de sol tels que moquettes, bois, carreaux, etc. De préférence exempte d'eau, cette composition peut former un revêtement hydrophobe sur le substrat de sol et possède dans l'idéal le pH requis pour bloquer le passage de sels alcalins à travers le substrat.
