Zusammenfassung:	A self-lubricating bearing includes an outer bearing member (16) having a bore (20) configured to receive an inner bearing member (22) and an inner bearing member (22) disposed within the bore (20) with the inner bearing member (22) capable of rotating relative to the outer bearing member (16). At least one of the outer and inner bearing members includes a lubricating material (36) that defines a discrete lubricating region (34) of an associated bearing surface (24). The lubricating material (36) fills a preform cavity (42) extending inwardly from the surface (24) of the respective bearing member (22). L'invention concerne un palier autolubrifiant comprenant un élément palier externe doté d'un alésage conçu pour recevoir un élément palier interne, l'élément palier interne étant monté à l'intérieur de l'alésage et tournant relativement à l'élément palier externe. Au moins un des éléments parmi les éléments paliers externe et interne comporte une matière lubrifiante définissant une zone de lubrification discrète d'une surface de palier associée. La matière lubrifiante remplit une cavité de moule s'étendant vers l'intérieur à partir de la surface de l'élément palier correspondant.
