METHYL ESTER-BASED MICROEMULSIONS FOR CLEANNING HARD SURFACES

A cleaning composition containing: (a) from about 1.0 to about 15.0% by weight of a monoethanolamine salt of an alkyl sulfonic acid; (b) from about 3 to about 50% by weight of a C6-C14 methyl ester primary solvent; (c) from about 1.0 to about 15.0% by weight of a short-chain cosurfactant; (d) from about to about 25% by weight of a polar solvent having a water solubility of from about 1 to g/100 ml; (e) up to about 10.0% by weight of a nonionic surfactant; (f) from about 0.05 to about 3.0% by weight of a thickening agent selected from the-group consisting of hydroxypropyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, and mixtures thereof; and (g) remainder, water, all weights being based on the total weight of the composition, and wherein the composition is terpene-free. L'invention concerne une composition de nettoyage contenant: a) environ de 1,0 à 15,0 % en poids d'un sel de monoéthanolamine d'acide alkylsulfonique; b) environ de 3 à 50 % en poids d'un solvant primaire d'ester de méthyle en C6-C14; c) environ 1,0 à 15,0 % en poids d'un cotensioactif à chaîne courte; d) environ 1 à 25 % en poids d'un solvant polaire possédant une solubilité dans l'eau d'environ 1 à 5 g/100 ml; e) environ jusqu'à 10,0 % en poids d'un tensioactif non ionique; f) environ 0,05 à 3,0 % en poids d'un agent épaississant sélectionné dans le groupe constitué par la cellulose hydroxypropyle, la méthylcellulose hydroxypropyle et des mélanges de celles-ci; et g) le reste étant de l'eau, tous les poids étant basés sur le poids total de la composition, et ladite composition étant exempte de terpène.
