METHOD FOR MEASUREMENT AND ALIGNMENT OF COLLIMATION ERROR OF THE CONNECTOR BETWEEN A PAIR OF ROTARY SHAFTS AND APPARATUS SYSTEM OF THE SAME

In methods for measurement and alignment of collimation error of the connectors between a pair of rotary shafts as well as an apparatus system of the same, a relative position relation between rotary axes of two half connectors and centres thereof is regarded and a method of determining four parameters based on the common vertical line of both rotating axes is used to describe the collimation error of the connectors. The four parameters, which are used as the target parameters to carry out the measurement and alignment processes, are: the length of the common vertical line; the included angle formed between the two rotary axes; and the distances between the points where the common vertical line meets the rotary axes and the centres of the connectors, respectively. The apparatus system is designed and manufactured according to the requirment of the measurement and alignment processes.
