Zusammenfassung:Methods and apparatuses for measuring streaming metrics. A method for measuring a streaming metric corresponding to a rotating surface (10) is characterized by rotating the surface (10) around an axis of rotation and measuring the streaming metric at a location within one radius from the axis of rotation and within three radii from the surface (10), wherein the location does not contact the surface (10). Apparatus for measuring a streaming metric corresponding to a rotating surface (10) are characterized by a working electrode (16) which does not contact the surface (10), a counter electrode (18), a meter (20) connected to the working electrode (16) and the counter electrode (18), a rotatable spindle (14) on which the surface (10) is mounted, and a container (12) for holding electrolyte, wherein the working electrode (16), counter electrode (18), and surface (10) are located within the container (12). La présente invention a trait à des procédés et des appareils pour la mesure de paramètres continus. Un procédé pour la mesure d'un paramètre continu correspondant à une surface en rotation (10) est caractérisé par l'entraînement en rotation de la surface (10) autour d'un axe de rotation et la mesure du paramètre continu à un point au sein d'un rayon depuis l'axe de rotation et à l'intérieur de trois rayons depuis la surface (10), le point n'étant pas en contact avec la surface (10).
