In some embodiments, a method of making particles can include combining a plurality of streams of fluid to form drops, and forming particles from the drops, the particles having an arithmetic mean diameter of from about ten microns to about 3,000 microns. La présente invention concerne une embolisation ainsi que des particules et des procédés associés. Ce procédé de fabrication de particules consiste à combiner une pluralité de flux de fluide de façon à former des gouttes et à former des particules à partir de ces gouttes, ces particules possédant un diamètre moyen arithmétique compris entre environ 10 microns et environ 3000 microns.
