Zusammenfassung:	The case comprises a one-piece rigid shell (2), comprising a bottom wall (10) and a side wall (12). The bottom wall (10) and the side wall (12) thus define an internal space (15) with an open face. A rigid lid (4) closes the open face. The shell (2) is provided with a rim (14) at the periphery of the open face, the shell (2) thus having eight corners between which the internal volume occupies substantially the entire volume of the case (1). L'invention concerne une mallette comportant une coquille rigide monobloc (2) présentant une paroi de fond et une paroi latérale (12). La paroi de fond (10) et la paroi latérale (12) définissent un espace intérieur (15) présentant un côté ouvert. Un couvercle rigide (4) ferme le côté ouvert. La coquille (2) est pourvue d'un cerclage (14) sur la périphérie du côté ouvert. Par conséquent, la coquille (2) comporte huit coins entre lesquels l'espace intérieur occupe essentiellement tout le volume de la mallette (1).
