FREE LOCK CONNECTOR

Disclosed herein is a connector for connecting a film wire to a substrate without a flip member. The connector comprises a housing with an insert hole formed therethrough, and a number of terminals inserted and fixed to the housing through the insert hole. Each terminal comprises a contact portion formed at one side thereof, and a seesaw member integrally formed at the other side thereof opposite to the contact portion via a central portion to seesaw about the central portion by a film wire when the film wire is inserted into the housing. The film wire is inserted into the housing with smaller force at an initial stage, and is fixed into the connector with a greater force at a final stage, so that a contact pin of the film wire can be inserted into a proper position without being damaged or scratched, and be stably fixed in the connector. La présente invention se rapporte à un connecteur permettant de connecter un câble en film à un substrat sans élément de bascule. Le connecteur comprend un logement traversé par un orifice d'insertion, et un certain nombre de bornes insérées dans le logement et fixées à ce dernier à travers l'orifice d'insertion. Chaque borne comporte une partie de contact formée à l'une de ses extrémités, et un élément de va-et-vient formé solidaire à l'autre extrémité, à l'opposé de la partie de contact en passant par une partie centrale, qui décrit un mouvement de va-et-vient autour de la partie centrale sous l'action d'un câble en film lorsque ce dernier est inséré dans le logement. Le câble en film est inséré dans le logement avec une force réduite à une étape initiale, et est fixé dans le connecteur avec une force plus importante à une étape finale, de façon qu'une broche de contact du câble en film puisse être insérée dans une position correcte sans être endommagée ni griffée, et être fixée de manière stable dans le connecteur.
