L'invention concerne un mécanisme de commande (10) qui permet de déplacer des points d'aiguille sur une voie de chemin de fer, qui est doté d'une vis de guidage entraînée par un moteur (32), d'un bloc mobile (14) qui se déplace le long de la vis de guidage afin de positionner les points d'aiguille, d'une butée (441) sur la vis de guidage qui limite le déplacement du bloc mobile, d'une manivelle (461) pour visser manuellement la vis de guidage, et d'un embrayage limiteur de couple (52) placé sur ladite manivelle.
