Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the methanesulfonic acid addition salts of Imatinib and to the processes for their preparation. In particular, the invention relates to the process for the preparation of Imatinib methanesulfonate a-crystal form. Furthermore, the invention is directed to a novel acid addition salt of 4- (4-methylpiperazin-1-ylmethyl)-N- [4-methyl-3-[(4-pyridin-3-yl)pyrimidin-2-ylamino) phenyl] benzamide with two molecules of methanesulfonic acid and the polymorphic forms thereof as well as their pharmaceutical compositions. L'invention concerne des sels d'addition d'acide méthanesulfonique dérivés de l'imatinib et des procédés d'élaboration correspondants, et en particulier un procédé d'élaboration de forme alpha-cristalline de méthanesulfonate d'imatinib. L'invention concerne également un sel d'addition d'acide de 4- (4-méthylpipérazine-1-ylméthyle)-N- [4-méthyle-3-[(4-pyridine-3-yl)pyrimidine-2-ylamino) phényle] benzamide, avec deux molécules d'acide méthanesulfonique et leurs formes polymorphes, y compris les compositions pharmaceutiques correspondantes.
