Zusammenfassung:	The present invention generally relates to compositions and methods of use for a fibroblast growth factor ("FGF"). More particularly, the present invention relates to a nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) of FGF-20, and its fragments, derivatives, variants, homologs, and analogs, as well as their uses in wound healing, and prevention and/or treatment of certain diseases, including but are not limited to, stroke, radiation sickness, mucositis, inflammatory bowel disease, and inflammation (osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis). De façon générale, La présente invention concerne des compositions et des méthodes utiles pour facteur de croissance des fibroblastes ("FGF").
