IMPLANT BORE INSERT

Implant bore insert (10) has an outer surface (16) that is, at least in part, substantially cylindrically aligned. The insert may be blind, thus forming a cup, or it may be open ended. Preferably, the insert is provided with a predetermined outer circumferential surface (17) that provides for a suitable interference fit with a corresponding bore hole (25) of an implant component part (20). When inserted into the bore hole, the insert preferably seats itself on a blind end (22) of the bore hole. L'insert peut être borgne, formant ainsi une coupelle ou peut être ouvert.
