Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a method and device for determining the morphology (M) of a divided material, particularly a granulate, said divided material being composed of at least one particle, enabling the following: projection of a shadow of said particle having a contour (26); determination of the coordinates (C) of the points (26i) of said contour (26); treatment of said coordinates (C) in order to approach said contour (26) by means of a plurality of consecutive segments (32i, 32i+1); determination of a morphology criterion (M) of said divided material by treatment of the relative positions of at least two consecutive segments (32i, 32i+1). L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de détermination de la morphologie (M) d'un matériau divisé, en particulier d'un granulat, ledit matériau divisé étant composé d'au moins une particule, qui permettent : - de projeter une ombre de ladite particule ayant un contour (26), - de déterminer les coordonnées (C) des points (26i) dudit contour (26), - de traiter lesdites coordonnées (C) pour approcher ledit contour (26) par une pluralité de segments consécutifs (32i, 32i+1), et - de déterminer un critère de morphologie (M) dudit matériau divisé par un traitement des positions relatives d'au moins deux desdits segments consécutifs (32i, 32i+1).
