Use of this composition makes it possible to relieve unpleasant symptoms (for example, dysphoria, malaise, flagging interest, hyposomnia/hypersomnia, inappetency/overeating and anxiety) caused by premenstrual tension, maternity blue, menopausal syndrome and so on. L'invention concerne une composition comportant beta -caryophyllene en tant que substance active. Selon l'invention l'utilisation de ladite composition permet le contrôle de symptômes désagréables (par exemple, la dysphorie, le malaise, l'absence d'intérêt, l'hyposomnie-hypersomnie, l'hypophagie hyperphagie et l'inquiétude) occasionnés par le syndrome prémenstruel, la dépression postnatale, le syndrome dû à la ménopause etc.
