Zusammenfassung:	Precipitated silica product having low surface area and enhanced flavor compatibility. The precipitated silica product is especially well-adapted for use in dentifrices containing cetylpyridinium chloride, which do not attach to the low surface area silica product in a meaningful level and thus remain available for antimicrobial action. Processes for making the low surface area silica product are also provided. La présente invention a trait à un produit à base de silice précipitée présentant une faible surface et une compatibilité de goût améliorée. Le produit à base de silice précipitée est particulièrement adapté pour être utilisé dans des dentifrices contenant du chlorure de cétylpyridinium, qui ne s'adhère pas au produit à base de silice précipitée à faible surface à un taux significatif et reste donc disponible pour une action antimicrobienne. L'invention a également trait à des procédés permettant la production du produit à base de silice précipitée à faible surface.
