La présente invention a trait à des interventions chirurgicales sous-xyphoïdiennes endoscopiques permettant l'accès intra-péricardique pour le placement de semences épicardiques autour de l'anneau mitral pour le support d'une suture ou d'une bande tendue qui réduit la taille de l'anneau mitral pour la réparation de la valvule mitrale de régurgitation.
