In one specific implementation, the electronic control unit is embodied as an engine control unit of a vehicle or a stationary power generator. A method of controlling an engine and a fuel reformer is also disclosed. L'invention concerne une unité de contrôle électronique intégrée conçue pour exécuter une routine permettant de contrôler le fonctionnement du moteur thermique ainsi qu'une routine permettant de contrôler le fonctionnement du reformeur de combustible. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'unité de contrôle électronique se présente sous la forme d'une unité de contrôle du moteur d'un véhicule ou d'un générateur d'électricité fixe. L'invention concerne également un procédé permettant de contrôler un moteur et un reformeur de combustible.
