This compound is useful as an intermediate in the synthesis of compounds which possess pharmacological activity. Also disclosed are novel semicarbazide salts and the preparation thereof, which are intermediates for the preparation of 3-chloromethyl-1,2,4-triazolin-5-one. La présente invention porte sur des procédés de préparation de 3-chlorométhyl-1,2,4-triazolin-5-one. Ce composé est utile comme intermédiaire dans la synthèse des composés ayant une activité pharmacologique. L'invention porte également sur de nouveaux sels de semicarbazide et sur leur préparation, ces sels étant des intermédiaires utiles dans la préparation de 3-chlorométhyl-1,2,4-triazolin-5-one.
