A DEVICE FOR INFEED OF BUNDLES OF BANKNOTES FOR EXAMPLE INTO AN APPARATUS

An arrangement for feeding a bundle of items, such as banknotes, cheques, forms or the like into a machine for further handling of said items, wherein the arrangement includes an infeed opening (10) through which bundles of said items are fed into the machine from the outside thereof; means (11 - 12) for feeding one item at time to a transport path (11 - 13 - 14) in the machine, and means (20) for providing customers with instructions and information that will enable the machine to be handled correctly. Located between the infeed opening (10) and the item feed means (11 - 12) is an auxiliary device (16 - 17) which functions to transport items to the feed means (11 -12) one at a time. The arrangement also includes means (11 - 12 -17 -10) for the possible return of a bundle of items back to the infeed opening (10) at the same time as the instruction means (20) gives to customers instructions as to how the returned bundle of items shall be put in order. Le dispositif comporte: un orifice d'introduction (10) de la liasse depuis l'extérieur; un moyen (11-12) plaçant un à un les articles sur une voie de transport (11-13-14) intérieure au dispositif; un moyen (20) fournissant au client des instructions d'utilisation de l'appareil; un dispositif auxiliaire (16-17) placé entre l'orifice (10) et le moyen (11-12) et distribuant les articles, un à un, au moyen (11-12), et un moyen (11-12-17-10) permettant de ramener dans l'ouverture (10) la liasse introduite pendant que le moyen (20) donne au client des instructions sur la manière de mettre en ordre la liasse.
