Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is directed to a method of treating cancer which comprises administration of a compound which selectively inhibits the activity of one or two of the isoforms of Akt, a serine/threonine protein kinase. The invention is particularly directed to the method wherein the compound is dependent on the presence of the pleckstrin homology domain of Akt for its inhibitory activity. L'invention concerne une méthode de traitement du cancer, qui comprend l'administration d'un composé inhibant sélectivement l'activité d'une ou de deux isoformes d'Akt, une sérine/thréonine protéine kinase. L'invention concerne en particulier une méthode dans laquelle l'activité d'inhibition du composé dépend de la présence du domaine d'homologie avec la pleckstrine d'Akt.
