SEA WATER DESALINATION PLANT

The inventive sea water desalination plant has a high performance and is relatively economical with respect to the construction and use thereof. Said plant comprises a sealed hollow vacuum evaporator provided with a low sea water inlet whose hollow in the top part thereof is connected by means of pipes to a steam condenser and a vacuum pump, and a reservoir for collecting desalinated water. The novelty of said invention lies in that the vacuum evaporator is embodied in the form of a vertical tower having the shape of a body of rotation. The formula for optimal embodiment of the generating line of said body of rotation is also disclosed. A windmill can be used as a drive for the vacuum pump and a turboexpander as a condenser. L'installation comprend un évaporateur à vide creux hermétique avec l'amenée de l'eau de mer par le bas, dont la cavité de haut est reliée par des tuyaux aux condenseurs de vapeur et une pompe à vide ainsi qu'une cavité de collecte de l'eau dessalée. La nouveauté consiste en ce que l'évaporateur à vide se présente comme une tour verticale ayant la forme d'un corps de rotation. L'invention comprend une formule de mise en oeuvre optimale de la génératrice de ce corps de rotation. On peut utiliser en tant qu'entraînement de la pompe à vide une éolienne et en tant que condenseur un turbo-détendeur.
