In one embodiment, the presenting may be a virtual slide show. The method may be implemented as software on a stand-alone computer or in a client-server networked environment. L'invention concerne un système et un procédé permettant de présenter des articles et de recevoir des sélections de ces articles provenant d'un utilisateur. Dans un mode de réalisation, ledit procédé consiste à présenter une séquence d'images d'une pluralité d'articles et à ajouter un article en cours d'affichage à une zone de support sensible à l'acceptation d'une entrée d'utilisateur. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, la présentation peut être un montage virtuel de diapositives. Ce procédé peut être mis en oeuvre sous forme de logiciel sur un ordinateur autonome ou dans un environnement client-serveur en réseau.
