The present compounds unexpectedly exhibit good activity as angiogenesis inhibitors, which find use as antitumor/anticancer agents as well as to treat a number of conditions or disease states in which angiogenesis is a factor. Cette invention concerne la solenopsine A et ses analogues utilisés comme inhibiteurs de l'angiogenèse. Les composés de cette invention présentent de façon inattendue une bonne activité comme inhibiteurs de l'angiogenèse, lesquels sont utilisés comme agents antitumoraux/anticancéreux ainsi que pour traiter un certain nombre de troubles ou d'états pathologiques dans lesquels l'angiogenèse constitue un facteur.
