MCH ANTAGONISTS FOR THE TREATMENT OF OBESITY

The present invention discloses compounds of formula (I) and (II), which are novel antagonists for melanin−concentrating hormone (MCH), as well as methods for preparing such compounds. In another embodiment, the invention discloses pharmaceutical compositions comprising such MCH antagonists as well as methods of using them to treat obesity, metabolic disorders, eating disorders such as hyperphagia, and diabetes. La présente invention concerne des composés de formules I et II, qui constituent de nouveaux antagonistes de l'hormone MCH (melanin-concentrating hormone), ainsi que des procédés pour préparer ces composés. Dans un autre mode de réalisation, la présente invention concerne des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant de tels antagonistes de MCH, ainsi que des procédés pour les utiliser afin de traiter l'obésité, des troubles du métabolisme, des troubles alimentaires, tels que l'hyperphagie, ainsi que le diabète.
