POWERED UTENSIL BASKET

A powered utensil basket (10) is disclosed that captures a jet stream (100) emanating from a nozzle (105) located along a rear wall (20) of a wash-tank type pot and pan washing machine. The bottom wall (30) of the basket diverts the jet stream upward and forward toward a front wall (40) of the basket where the jet stream is diverted upward and rearward toward a rear wall (20) of the basket. At the rear wall (20) of the basket, the jet stream is again diverted downward towards the bottom wall (30) where the jet stream is then diverted forward again towards the front wall (40) thereby creating a washing action (110) within the utensil basket (10) that is substantially similar to the washing action of the washing machine. Le jet est dévié du fond, vers le haut et vers l'avant, en direction de la paroi avant du panier, où il est dévié vers le haut et vers l'arrière, en direction de la paroi arrière du panier. Au niveau de cette paroi, le jet est encore dévié vers le bas, en direction du fond du panier, où il est ensuite dévié vers l'avant, de nouveau en direction de la paroi avant. Ce type de déviation établit dans le panier une action de lavage sensiblement analogue à l'action de lavage du lave-vaisselle.
