La présente invention se rapporte à un ensemble à câble ou courroie (26) présent dans un système d'ascenseur (20) et comportant au moins un élément porte-charge (40) qui est recouvert d'un revêtement d'uréthane (42). Ce revêtement (42) ne contient aucune cire. L'absence de cires, lesquelles sont généralement incluses dans les revêtements d'uréthane, permet d'obtenir de meilleures caractéristiques de frottement lors du fonctionnement du système d'ascenseur.
