The inventive composite material is of the type comprising fibre bundles whereof the fibres impregnated with non-cured resin are enclosed in a sheath maintaining them and compressing them to the desired shape, the sheath being made of a flexible and closed material. The invention is particularly applicable for making bra stays or prosthetic, in particular dental, elements. L'invention concerne un matériau composite, son procédé de fabrication et ses utilisations. Le matériau composite de l'invention est du type composite fibré dont les fibres imprégnées de résine non durcie sont enveloppées dans une gaine les maintenant et les comprimant à la forme voulue, la gaine étant en un matériau souple et fermée. L'invention trouve application en particulier pour la fabrication d'armatures de soutien-gorge ou d'éléments prothétiques, notamment dentaires.
