Zusammenfassung:	A lead (100) for monitoring or simulating cardiac activity is provided. The lead (100) is adapted for implantation on or about the heart within the coronary vasculature and for connection to a signal generator (140). The lead is constructed and arranged so that when it is implanted, the electrodes (122) are housed in the coronary vasculature and urged into intimate contact a vessel wall (128). The lead optionally includes a tapered, flexible lead body portion that is distal to a biased portion. L'invention concerne une sonde destinée à surveiller ou à stimuler l'activité cardiaque. La sonde est conçue pour être implanter sur le coeur, ou autour du coeur, à l'intérieur du système vasculaire coronarien, et pour être connecter à un générateur de signaux. La sonde est construite et agencée de façon que, lorsqu'elle est implantée, les électrodes soient logées dans le système vasculaire et étroitement en contact avec une paroi de vaisseau. Eventuellement, la sonde comporte une partie de corps souple conique qui est distale par rapport à une partie biaisée.
