Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to water treatment by ozonising and can be used, in particular for disinfecting drinking water in water supply systems. The inventive device for ozonising water comprises an air preparation system connected to at least one ozone generator provided with a power supply, a reactor pot embodied in the form of a hermetic contact basin. At least one dispersant embodied in the form of a porous plate having the pore dimensions ranging from 10 to 150 mkm or a plate provided with channels having frustaconical shape whose diameters at the input and the output of ozone are equal to 180-200 mkm and 100-150 mkm, respectively. Said device is also provided with a system for treating residual ozone embodied in the form of at least one block of nozzles connected to a source of atomised water and arranged above the surface of the treated water in such a way that said treated water is completely covered by the atomised water. The elements of the device are mainly united into separate container type modules. The inventive method for ozonising water carried out with the aid of the inventive device is also disclosed. In order to increase the degree of ozone utilisation, the inventive device is provided with an additional system for treating the residual ozone embodied in the form of an additional contact basin which water input is connected to the water output of the main contact basin, the water output of the additional contact basin being connected to the water input of the main contact basin. Said invention improves the efficiency and quality of water treatment by increasing the degree of ozone utilisation.
