The control unit extracts the informational component and adjusts at least one setting of the media output device based on the informational component. La présente invention concerne un procédé et un système de paramétrage de paramètres vidéo et audio pour un dispositif de sortie de supports. Ledit système comprend une unité de commande présentant une entrée de signal de support. Ledit signal de support comprend au moins un composant vidéo et un composant audio, ainsi qu'un composant informationnel associé. L'unité de commande extrait le composant informationnel et règle au moins un paramètre du dispositif de sortie de support en fonction du composant informationnel.
