Zusammenfassung:	The invention concerns an adjustable footrest (1) linked to the floor of a vehicle, in particular a motor vehicle, comprising a housing (2) whereof at least one surface (23), designed to receive the driver's foot, is inclined towards the front of the vehicle and at the rear of which is fixed a displacement mechanism (3) for said surface which is itself linked to the floor. The invention is characterised in that the mechanism is a mechanism for linear displacement along the axis of the vehicle. l'invention concerne un repose-pied (1) ajustable lié au plancher d'un véhicule, notamment d'un véhicule automobile, comportant un bâti (2) dont au moins une face (23), destinée à recevoir le pied d'un conducteur, est inclinée vers l'avant du véhicule et à l'arrière de laquelle est fixé un mécanisme de déplacement (3) de cette face lui-même fixé au plancher. Selon l'invention, le mécanisme est un mécanisme de déplacement linéaire selon l'axe du véhicule.
