Zusammenfassung:	A method is described for the construction of DNA microarrays by in situ synthesis in which the DNA probes in the array are constructed from a series of small DNA polymers 2 to 4 nucleotides in length. The location of attachment of the small polymers in the microarray is determined by light actuated chemical deprotection of locations to which the small polymers are to be added. Cette invention a trait à une technique de construction de micro-réseaux d'ADN par synthèse in situ. Dans le cadre de cette technique, les sondes d'ADN présentes dans le réseau sont obtenues à partir d'une série de petits polymères d'ADN, d'une longueur de 2 à 4 nucléotides. Le point d'attache de ces petits polymères dans les micro-réseaux est déterminé par la déprotection chimique, déclenchée par la lumière, des endroits où doivent être attachés lesdits polymères.
