Kits for isolating nucleic acid from samples form further embodiments of the invention. L'invention concerne un procédé d'isolation d'un acide nucléique provenant d'un échantillon de sang. Ledit procédé consiste à : (a) isoler de manière sélective des leucocytes dudit échantillon en liant lesdits leucocytes à un support solide au moyen d'un partenaire spécifique pour les leucocytes; (b) lyser lesdits leucocytes isolés; et (c) lier l'acide nucléique diffusé par lesdites cellules lysées audit support solide. Des assemblages permettant d'isoler l'acide nucléique des échantillons constituent les autres modes de réalisation de la présente invention.
