Zusammenfassung:	An improved process for digitally printing onto a substrate, particularly a metal coil, and novel paint compositions for use in the process. The paint composition comprises a binder system of a polymer having a number average molecular weight of at least 7500 and a cross-linking agent, such as melamine, one or more thermally activated catalysts and at least one pigment. A high boiling point carrier solvent may also be included in the composition which is applied to a substrate by an industrial inkjet printer and thermally cured. L'invention concerne un procédé amélioré d'impression numérique sur substrat, notamment sur une bobine de métal, et de nouvelles compositions de peinture s'utilisant dans le procédé. La composition de peinture comprend un système de liant renfermant un polymère de poids moléculaire moyen d'au moins 7500 ; et un agent de réticulation tel que la mélamine, un ou plusieurs catalyseurs thermiquement actifs et au moins un pigment. Un solvant support à point d'ébullition élevé peut aussi être inclus dans la composition, qui est appliquée sur un substrat au moyen d'une imprimante industrielle à jet d'encre et traitée thermiquement.
