L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un liquide comprenant une composition de revêtement à électrodéposer et un contaminant. Ledit procédé consiste à mettre au moins une partie du liquide en contact avec un milieu filtrant contenant de la terre de diatomées, de manière qu'au moins une partie du contaminant soit séparée du liquide.
