The invention also provides a cosmetic method of lightening the skin comprising washing with a detergent bar according to the invention. L'invention concerne un détergent en pain contenant de 15 à 85 % d'un actif détergent et de 0,1 à 20 % d'un agent d'éclaircissement de la peau. De préférence, l'agent d'éclaircissement de la peau est incorporé dans le détergent en pain à une température comprise entre 20 et 60 DEG C. L'invention concerne également un procédé cosmétique permettant d'éclaircir la peau, consistant à laver la peau à l'aide du détergent en pain décrit dans cette invention.
