PHARMACEUTICAL COMBINATIONS AND THEIR USE IN TREATING GASTROINTESTINAL DISORDERS

The present invention relates to a combination of a first agent including either a 5-HT4 receptor agonist or antagonist or a 5-HT3 receptor antagonist and a co-agent and pharmaceutical compositions and formulations containing the combination. The pharmaceutical combination may be employed for the treatment of altered gastrointestinal motility, sensitivity, secretion or abdominal disorders. The dosage is preferably oral. The preferred first agent is tegaserod.
