Zusammenfassung:	Phenolic aralkylation polymers modified by reaction with an anhydride to improve the characteristics and properties of coating systems in which the modified materials are incorporated. The anhydride is reacted with an aliphatic hydroxyl moiety of an alkoxylated phenolic aralkylation polymer. The hydroxyl moieties include those that have been "chain extended" if desired. Polymères d'aralkylation phénolique modifiés par réaction avec un anhydride pour améliorer les caractéristiques et les propriétés de systèmes de revêtement dans lesquels les matières modifiées sont incorporées.
