A METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR ACQUIRING DATA IN A HYDROCARBON WELL IN PRODUCTION

To acquire data such as the flow rate of various phases of a fluid flowing in a hydrocarbon well (12) in production, in particular in an inclined or horizontal portion of the well, both the local speed of the fluid and the proportions of the various phases are determined in each of at least two distinct regions of the well that are not in alignment with one another parallel to the axis of the well. The regions in which the measurements are taken are advantageously distributed in a vertical plane containing the axis of the well when the well is inclined or horizontal. Selon l'invention, l'acquisition de données, telles que le débit de phases différentes d'un fluide s'écoulant dans un puits d'hydrocarbures (12) en production, en particulier dans une partie inclinée ou horizontale du puits, nécessite la détermination à la fois de la vitesse locale du fluide et des proportions des différentes phases dans chacune de, au moins, deux régions distinctes du puits qui ne sont pas en alignement, l'une avec l'autre, parallèle à l'axe du puits. Les régions dans lesquelles les mesures sont effectuées sont avantageusement distribuées dans un plan vertical contenant l'axe du puits lorsque le puits est incliné ou horizontal.
