Zusammenfassung:	A color-sequential LCD image display apparatus is operated through controlling an array of pixelized display elements for in each element rendering a plurality of colors in sequence. In particular, a compensating operation is executed against color impurities for a later color due to a non-instantaneous response of such elements as a result of an immediately preceding color for the element in question, under control of the combined color signals associated with both said immediately preceding color and said later color. L'invention concerne un afficheur d'images LCD à séquence de couleurs, qui fonctionne par commande d'un réseau d'éléments d'affichage pixélisés pouvant donner dans chaque élément un rendu de plusieurs séquences de couleurs. Plus particulièrement, une opération de compensation est exécutée pour éliminer les impuretés chromatiques pour une couleur postérieure due à une réponse non instantanée desdits éléments résultant d'une couleur immédiatement antérieure pour l'élément en question, sous le contrôle des signaux de couleur combinés associés à la couleur immédiatement antérieure et à la couleur postérieure.
