A layer of zirconium scandate having the hexagonal Zr3Sc4O12 structure is formed directly on a superalloy substrate or on a bond coat formed on the substrate. L'invention concerne un revêtement de barrière thermique pour les éléments de la trajectoire des gaz chauds d'une turbine à combustion, se basant sur un système zircone-oxyde de scandium. Selon l'invention, une couche de scandate de zirconium de structure Zr3Sc4O12 hexagonale est formée directement sur un substrat de superalliage ou sur un produit de liaison formé sur le substrat.
